Why would I need to order epub files?

We provide epub files so that authors may publish directly with publishing sites such as Kobo, Apple (Apple Books), Barnes & Noble (Nook), IngramSpark, etc. Authors who plan on publishing on Smashwords do not require an epub, since Smashwords will distribute to most of these publishers.
