Why is the spacing between words not even in my print PDF?

Most prints books use 'justified' text alignment. This results in the spaces between words not being equal in some cases to ensure that the right margin is straight.

There are two options to minimize the difference in spacing between words:

  1. Left-align the body text. This will ensure all spaces between words are equal, but the right margin text will be 'jagged'.
  2. Increase hyphenation of words in the text. This will minimize the difference in spacing but increases the number of hyphenated words.
